Summary

Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship is an Indian Hindi language horror mystery thriller film directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh. It is based on a true accident that took place in Mumbai, and tells the story of a couple on an abandoned ship lying static on a beach and is the first film of a pre planned horror film franchise.

A 1,000-tonne Panama-flagged merchant vessel The ship, which was abandoned by its crew one month away and reported sunk.

A month later, without a crew member, the ship was found on the Mumbai Juhu beach. How the ship come on beach off engines and without crew members  that was a horror Mystery, generally this type of ship send to scrapeyard, The National award winning actor Vicky kaushal play a role of a scrapeyard worker who falls into this mystery.

Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship is a reportedly part of the horror franchise. The film is jointly produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan and directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh.

The producer has released two new posters 

Vicky seems to emerge from a pit of bodies, with only hands trying to pull him inside. Vicky is bruised as he struggles to come out of the pit of rotting bodies and horror, but will he survive or not remains to be seen.

In another poster, Vicky seems to be reaching out to something with a flashlight in his hand. A spirit sits on his back as he stretches his hand out to something/somebody.

The teaser features the actor Vicky kaushal who is lost and his mates are trying to track him. vicky kaushal walking in a dark room with a torch and follows blood handprints on the wall. He ends up in a room full of handprints where he comes across his painting on the wall made of blood handprints. he focuses his torch’s light on a wall which shows his face, plastered with blood-stained hands. The eyes in the photo bleed blood too. In seconds, several hands emerge from the wall behind him and pull him into it, even as he struggles to escape their grip. Its was a very scary teaser.

Trailer Review

The trailer of Bhoot: The Haunted Ship will remind you of some of the most popular horror films, from The Grudge to The Ring, and even The Exorcist.
In the trailer a lot seems to be happening — as it opens we are informed that a abandoned ship has anchored at Mumbai’s Juhu beach. Vicky Kaushal, a surveying officer, is assinged the job of investigating what's wrong with the apparently haunted ship, and he has to probably face some of his own demons in the process.
The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar, there are glimpses of a happy family comprising Vicky, Bhumi and a child actor, but His doctors tell him that what he is seeing are hallucinations. The trailer also shows us glimpses of actors like Meher Vij and Ashutosh Rana.
